The elders have named this place “Ranc de Figère” «the planted rocks or rooted rocks» in the Provencal dialect, because of the mysterious tracks left by the Neolithic men who inhabited the region.
Today, its streams, rocks and garrigue still whisper their dreams.
Come and discover the distinct atmosphere and the beauty of this majestic mansion, set in the heart of the Provencal Ardèche, next to the picturesque village of Labeaume , its gorges and the Pont d’Arc cave . Our cottage is located in the municipality of Labeaume, classified as a “character village” near Ruoms. It is at the crossroads of five gorges which are among the most beautiful in Europe: the Beaume gorges at 800m, the Ruoms gorge 1km away, the Ardèche gorges at Vallon Pont d’Arc, those of Chassezac and, wilder, the gorges of the Line nearby.
